Coordinator Council

Ask A Coordinator

The purpose of this sounding board is to foster a supportive network where Program Coordinators/Administrators can connect, collaborate, and learn from one another. It’s a space designed to share guidance, training tips, and best practices for managing the core responsibilities of your role. Most importantly, it’s a way to remind you that you're not alone. We’re a community here to support your success, help you navigate Graduate Medical Education (GME), and empower you to reach your professional goals.

Rather than pairing individuals one-on-one, we’ve adopted a group-based approach. You’re encouraged to post your questions in the General GME UNC Coordinator Council group chat, where fellow coordinators can chime in with insights and suggestions. You may receive multiple responses, allowing you to choose the guidance that best fits your needs.

How to Asks Questions via Teams:

  • Click on General
  • Start a post with your question or topic

If you’d like to join one or more of the focused channels for Residency, Clerkship, or Fellowship, please reach out to Denita Moore via email.

Helpful Tip: You can mute the channel or notifications at any time and return when you're ready. We’re excited to have you as part of this community!

The Coordinator Council is composed of members from diverse specialties who meet monthly to serve as a collective voice for program coordinators. The Council advocates for the recognition and value of our role and is dedicated to ensuring coordinators are well-supported and equipped for success.
