Network Physician Recruitment

The UNC Network Physician Recruitment team is dedicated to supporting the hiring of Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) across our owned and managed healthcare communities. Since our establishment in 2016, we have spearheaded efforts in advertising, candidate sourcing, and pre-interview vetting, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process.

Our screening process is thorough, ensuring each candidate is fully qualified, licensed, and prepared to deliver safe, high-quality care. This involves verifying education, training, certifications, and licenses directly with issuing institutions through primary source verification.

Since the department’s inception in 2016, the team has recruited over 1,450 Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers across our system enterprise.

We maintain strong connections with residency and fellowship programs, including the UNC School of Medicine, offering support with CV reviews, interview preparation, contract guidance, and credentialing advice. Additionally, we conduct quarterly outreach to over 300 training programs nationwide to promote current job openings and incentives.

Erin Hill is responsible for leading the recruitment efforts for UNC Health Nash, in Rocky Mount, NC.

Dionne Hobgood

Dionne Hobgood serves as the Project Coordinator. She provides administrative support to the Executive Director and System Director, supports our budget, and supervises office contracts, supplies, maintenance, time tracking, and other critical functions as needed.

Jennifer LeBeau is a Manager and Interim Director for the UNC Health Network Physician Recruitment team. Jennifer is also responsible for the recruitment efforts for UNC Health Caldwell in Lenoir, NC.
