Our retail pharmacy network is here to support patients, visitors, and UNC Health team members every step of the way. Located close to your hospital and clinic visits, our pharmacies make it easy to fill prescriptions and receive personalized care.

UNC Hospitals Central Outpatient Pharmacy

UNC Hospitals Central Outpatient Pharmacy is on the ground floor of N.C. Basnight Cancer Hospital. We fill prescriptions for patients in our outpatient clinics and patients who are being discharged. Bedside delivery to your hospital room may be available by request. We also serve those enrolled in the Pharmacy Assistance Program (PAP).

We offer over-the-counter medications. Our pharmacy is open to the public.

Specialty Pharmacy Services: The UNC Health Specialty and Home Delivery Pharmacy offers Specialty Pharmacy Services to help to increase the continuity of care and level of customer service you receive as a patient. These services include clinical support, financial services, prescription services and specialty medications.

A pharmacist is available 24-hours a day, seven days a week, to answer urgent clinical questions for patients receiving specialty medications.

UNC Hospitals Hillsborough Outpatient Pharmacy

UNC Hospitals Hillsborough Outpatient Pharmacy fills prescriptions for patients who are being discharged from our hospital and clinics. Bedside delivery may be available by request. We also serve employees, the public, and those enrolled in the Pharmacy Assistance Program (PAP). We accept most insurance.

UNC Hospitals Employee Pharmacy

The UNC Hospitals Employee Pharmacy offers convenient pharmacy services for UNC Health, UNC Faculty Physicians and UNC School of Medicine employees and their immediate family members. You’ll find us in the lobby of N.C. Memorial Hospital at the back of the Carolina Care at Home Convenience Center.
