UNC Nephrology and Hypertension-Burlington

Our vision is to be a leading nephrology division among public universities in the United States. In order to fulfill this mission, the UNC Division of Nephrology and Hypertension will:

1. Maintain and enhance and expand our research portfolio through continued support of the already robust clinical, translational and basic research enterprise that encompasses acute, chronic and autoimmune diseases of the kidney.
2. Fully integrate the care of patients with kidney disease into a system that is patient-centered and value-driven.
3. Continue to recruit and train the next generation of clinical and research nephrologists.
