UNC Internal Medicine Clinic
The UNC Internal Medicine Clinic, part of the UNC Health Care System, provides primary care to adults. The practice encompasses prevention, diagnosis, acute care and chronic disease management and distinguishes itself in the care of medically complex patients with multiple disease processes. It employs a continuity care model that promotes a strong doctor-patient relationship. Using a team approach, Clinical Pharmacists, Social Workers, Care Assistants, Nutritionists, Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners work with Doctors to provide intensive outpatient care to patients.
We are located on the 3rd floor of the Ambulatory Care Center (ACC Building). There is a pay-per-hour parking lot outside of the building, which currently charges $1.50/hr. There are 2 entrances to the building (one entrance on the 1st floor and one entrance on the 2nd floor). There is a security desk near the entrance and the guard on duty can direct patients and visitors to the 3rd floor via stairs or elevator.
