UNC Cardiac Surgery Clinic

Our clinic offers a full range of surgical treatment for heart disease. We specialize in treating adult patients with complex medical issues such as heart failure, valvular disorders, diabetes, end-stage renal disease requiring hemodialysis, and blood clotting disorders.

Our clinic has an intensive care unit and a step-down unit that are dedicated to the care for patients of cardiothoracic surgery. The cardiothoracic intensive care unit recently received the Beacon Award for Critical Care Excellence.

Cardiac surgeons work closely with providers from the Division of Cardiology and Division of Vascular Surgery to provide the best possible care for patients.

Location & Hours

Our clinic is on the fourth floor of N.C. Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill. Parking is available in the Dogwood Parking Deck across the street on Manning Drive. Use the parking deck shuttle or the covered walkway to one of the two security entrances to UNC Hospitals.
