What to Expect

Your first bone marrow transplant (BMT) visit is a chance to meet your care team and learn what to expect. You’ll talk with your doctor about the transplant process, and we’ll leave plenty of time for you and your family to ask questions.

You’ll also meet your transplant nurse coordinator, who will guide you through the steps before your transplant. If you are interested, they can even show you around the unit, so you know what to expect on the day of your procedure.
