Title: 'La Añoranza'
Rosa. M. Morales was
born in Venezuela, Valencia, Carabobo state. She
began painting in 2007 while on medical rest. Her
paintings express experiential motives, customs and traditions of people,
especially from Venezuela. It is striking
that many of her country's traditions are
also similar to traditions from other
countries. She considers her Latin American art a
manifestation of customs and traditions that ultimately unite people. Rosa Morales not only
paints on canvas, she also demonstrates her creativity in wood, cardboard, bottles,
ceramics and all material where she can use colors.
She has also participated in the creation of
ecological murals in her country of origin. As an artist, she is honored to
exhibit her works at the NC Women's Hospital.
