Gain confidence in your ability to successfully breastfeed by taking a breastfeeding class before your baby is born. You and your partner will benefit from expert advice, hands-on activities, and opportunities to build relationships with other parents.
Ask your prenatal care provider about meeting with a trained volunteer who can answer your questions about breastfeeding and give you a booklet on feeding your baby.
Educational Library
Borrow a book on breastfeeding from our Women’s Health Information Center library. Find the center on the ground floor of N.C. Women’s Hospital
