Spinal Tumors

Spinal tumors are abnormal growths within or surrounding the spine. The tumors
can be benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). The most common benign spinal tumor is a hemangioma (a collection of veins in the bone). Malignant spinal tumors are most commonly metastatic lesions from other cancers such as the breast or lungs.

Symptoms from spinal tumor can vary widely, depending on the extent of involvement.
