Movember 2017 at UNC: Shave the Date
The UNC Men's Health Program is joining forces with the UNC School of medicine to participate in their 6th annual Movember challenge– a global fundraising campaign committed to changing the face of men’s health.
The Movember Foundation challenges men to grow moustaches during Movember (formerly known as November), to spark conversation and raise vital funds for men’s health programs that focus on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity.
The challenge is simple: guys take action by signing up, shaving down their face on Movember 1, and growing a moustache for the month. They grow and groom their new Mo (slang for moustache), asking friends and family to donate on behalf of their efforts. MoSistas can get the word out by raising funds and awareness for the men in their lives!
Movember starts Nov. 1. To participate you can:
Our network goal for this year $50,000 and we need your help!
