Make A Gift

Private support is essential for UNC Hospice to carry out its mission.

At UNC Hospice, our providers and staff are passionate about going above and beyond for our patients and families. Our central goal is always peace of mind and ease for patients - physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Even though medical services are covered by insurance, care expenses often exceed reimbursement. Giving is vital for UNC Hospice to carry out its mission of serving patients, and donated funds are used to help families facing hardships while in hospice care.

Community donations were critical in the construction of the SECU Jim & Betsy Bryan Hospice Home, and they have also enabled our team to help families with such things as arranging temporary ramps to allow a wheelchair bound patient to get outside, or coordinate a small wedding ceremony at the Hospice Home in a patient’s final days of life.

Your support is critical to our ability to continue serving this great community. Gifts may be designated as memorials or honorariums, and we will notify the family of your kindness (without specifying the amount of your gift). Your contributions help provide care for our patients in UNC Hospice, as well as support our grief counseling services offered without charge to the entire community.
