Visitor Restrictions

Due to a decrease in the number of influenza cases, visitor restrictions have been lifted for inpatient units and their waiting areas at UNC Hospitals.

With the continued circulation of Respiratory Syncytial Virus, or RSV, restrictions for children 11 years of age and younger remain in place for the Newborn Critical Care Center, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at UNC Hospitals. Children 11 years of age and younger and in good health may visit other areas of UNC Hospitals.
