  • Testing is performed using Siemens Atellica TST II Assay.  Different test methods should not be used interchangeably.  Heterophilic antibodies may cause interference.  High doses of biotin may cause test interference.
  • Cross reactivity can occur with Nandrolone decanoate, 11 beta-hydroxytestosterone and 11-ketotestosterone.  Steroid based medications could potentially cause falsely elevated values.
