  • Draw and discard a red top tube before collecting the 3.2% sodium citrate, 2.7 mL light blue top.
  • Do NOT send in pneumatic tube station, samples must be walked to lab. Samples sent through tube station will be cancelled.
  • Do NOT collect with a collection device coated with an anti-coagulant.
  • Do NOT collect from a heparinized line or lock.
