  • Intraoperative PTH must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Call the Core Laboratory at (984)974-2361 to schedule and for specimen collection and transport instructions. Please note that the Intraoperative PTH testing can only be performed Monday through Friday during the dayshift and ONLY when scheduled in advance.
  • PTH results from different assays cannot be interchanged. PTH results generated at the Medical Center use the Siemens Atellica IM PTH assay which is a two-site immunoassay using direct chemiluminescent technology.  PTH results generated at the Ambulatory Care Center (ACC) (Intra-operative PTH) use the Tosoh A1A 360 PTH two-site immunoenzymometric assay.
