  • Intraoperative PTH must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Call the Core Laboratory at (984)974-2361 to schedule and for specimen collection instructions. Please note that the Intraoperative PTH testing can only be performed Wednesday and Friday 7:00 am-3:30pm ONLY when scheduled in advance.
  • PTH results from different assays cannot be interchanged. PTH results generated at the Ambulatory Care Center (ACC) (Intra-operative PTH) use the Tosoh A1A 360 PTH two-site immunoenzymometric assay. PTH results generated at the Medical Center use the Siemens Atellica IM PTH assay, which is a two-site immunoassay using direct chemiluminescent technology.
