Comments

Test is intended for medical purposes only.

The Siemens Atellica Opiate assay screening test detects the presence of morphine and codeine at concentration of 300 ng/mL or greater. Other opiates, oxycodone, hydromorphone, and hydrocodone may be detected if present at sufficient concentrations. The opiate screen does not detect fentanyl or buprenorphine. Confirmation testing should be considered when specific substances are requested. See Opiate, confirmation.

For additional information related to drug screening, refer to the Urine Toxicology Chart. Screen components may vary by lab location.
