  • Gold SST tube must be spun within 2 hours of collection. Red top tubes must be spun and serum aliquoted within 2 hours of collection.
  • Patients should NOT take multivitamins or dietary supplements containing Biotin (Vitamin B7) for 12 hours before collection.
