10 mL Random urine in Sterile collection cup is acceptable if refrigerated.
Testing is intended for medical purposes only. This test should be used for screening purposes only.
Methadone may be detected in the urine up to ~72 hours after last ingestion. The Siemens Atellica Methadone assay screening test detects the presence of methadone at a concentration of 300 ng/mL or greater; the methadone metabolite(EDDP) may also be detected. Methadone Confirmation testing should be considered for positive screens.
Specimens containing preservatives are not acceptable.
