  • Buccal swabs should be collected first thing in the morning before any medication, mouth hygiene, meals, or beverages, or at least two hours after a meal. 
  • Saliva sample should be collected at least 30 minutes after eating, drinking, smoking, or chewing gum.
  • Keep samples at ROOM TEMPERATURE
