  • This test should be ordered in combination with Histoplasma/Blastomyces Urine Antigen per CDC and Mycoses Study Group recommendations for non-invasive testing of histoplasmosis. 
  • If clinical suspicion persists despite initial negative tests, order convalescent titers with a repeat Histoplasma antibody titer 2-3 weeks after the original test.
  • Histoplasma antibody titers are not recommended to monitor response to treatment.
