Comment IgG antibodies to H. pylori are detected using the DiaSorin ETI-H. pylori IgG test.  This test is a qualitative ELISA and results are reported as negative, positive or equivocal.  If equivocal results are obtained, further testing by another method or submission and testing of a new serum sample is recommended.  Patients infected with Campylobacter jejuni, C. coli and C. fetus may cause false positive results in this test.
