  • Deliver immediately. If ordered along with an HIV Viral Load, sample will be held until Viral Load testing completed. Genosure Prime order will be cancelled if Viral Load is <500 copies/mL.
  • Sample must be processed within 6 hours of collection.
  • Orders from UNC Main Campus, including Hillsborough Hospital, Eastowne, CPMOB, and Children's Raleigh are sent LabCorp.
  • McLendon Labs Referral Testing Services is unable to process orders from other UNC System Hospitals for this test.
