Estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) is calculated with the CKD-EPI 2021 equation using measured plasma or serum creatinine value, age, and sex for adult patients (≥18 years) in accordance with the National Kidney Foundation and American Society of Nephrology Task Force recommendations.
