Specimen Routine: 1.0 mL whole blood, green top (Heparin) tube or BG syringe kit.  See Comments; Deliver immediately to the lab.
0.5 mL whole blood in BG syringe;
1.0 mL minimum if collected in 7 mL green top (Heparin) tube.
Availability Routine: 24 Hours/Day
Reference Range Normal: See Table Below

If transport is delayed >10 minutes, place on ice and deliver or "tube" immediately.
Specimens with Needles attached will NOT be accepted.

Samples >30 minutes old may have unreliable results.
