Specimen	Routine:	Performed on RNA extracted from blood or bone marrow. Two (2) tubes of blood (3mL/each tube) or bone marrow (1mL) must be collected in ACD-A tube or Lavender EDTA tube. Do not use heparin anti-coagulant. See Comments section for more specimen information. Extracted RNA (frozen -80°C) is accepted from a CLIA approved laboratory.

Reference Range		No detectable bcr/abl p190 transcripts

Comments	Please call Lab 984-974-1825 with questions. Laboratory hours are 6:00am - 5:00pm, Monday-Friday. Prompt delivery of the sample is essential due to the instability of RNA.
