  • Aspergillus fumigatus IgG can help support the diagnosis of Chronic Pulmonary Aspergillosis. This test is not appropriate for evaluating Invasive Aspergillosis or Subacute Invasive Aspergillosis as immunocompromised hosts do not form an antibody response. There are no universally established cut-off values for this test. Cut-off values vary widely across different reference laboratories.
  • Please use the “ABPA panel” (LAB5390) to evaluate for Allergic Bronchopulmonary Aspergillosis. The ABPA panel is sent to Viracor and has alternative cut-off values for positivity.
