- Specimens submitted for detection of IgG antibodies to Hepatitis A Virus (anti-HAV IgG) are tested using a chemiluminescent microparticle immunoassay (CMIA). The CMIA provides qualitative detection of HAV specific IgG antibodies on the Abbott Alinity-i instrument. Results are reported as nonreactive or reactive. This test is intended for the determination of immune status to HAV infection.
