Screening cut-off is 2.25 MOM. Positive >/= 2.25 MOM.  Reference ranges are dependent on demographic and clinical factors.

Maternal Serum Request Form must be sent with sample.  Forms maybe obtained by calling 984-974-3978, faxing request to 984-974-1678 or using the website. Recommended sample transportation is frozen.

Interpretation is highly dependent on gestational age, race, IDDM, maternal weight, and family history.
