Retrospective evaluation of use of rivaroxaban in patients with cancer

I initially became interested in the UNC Residency Program when several clinical faculty members at UCSF mentioned it as a potential landing spot for me based on my career interests. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to connect with several UNC faculty members at both the AACP and ACCP National Meetings, which helped reinforce my initial interest. After learning more about the program, I felt very confident that the UNC PGY1 Residency Program was uniquely fit for me. In particular, there were two aspects of the UNC's program that stood out to me; the teaching opportunities and outstanding preceptors available. Not only does UNC offer an extensive amount of opportunities for teaching, but the program has a comprehensive structure to help support residents in developing their teaching skills. I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of the UNC family and enjoy collaborating with my fellow residents each and every day.
