PGY1: Evaluation of the Impact of a Partnership between a School of Pharmacy and Academic Medical Center

Why UNC

It was important to me to train in a HSPA program that provided both strong clinical experiences and diversity of administrative rotations. UNC also allows residents to see the complexities of an academic medical center within a state-wide health-system. Upon completion of residency training, I feel confident I will be able to enter the work force with a depth and breadth of experiences. However, what truly drew me to UNC was the supportive and family-like atmosphere. There are several layers in place to support and nurture residents as a new pharmacist and as a person.
