Evaluation of P2Y12 receptor antagonist usage and the clinical impact of therapeutic adjustments at a tertiary medical center
What initially attracted me to the University of North Carolina Medical Center was the opportunity to have a residency experience predominantly in the outpatient setting, designed so that residents can more clearly understand what patients experience throughout the continuum of care. This residency program prides itself on its autonomy and mentorship, which allows me the chance to improve my clinical, teaching, and research skills in a challenging yet supportive environment. As a first year resident, I have the opportunity to be immersed in diverse ambulatory care rotation experiences while achieving key inpatient rotation competencies. I felt that I was immediately welcomed into this program with the the family-like environment I was searching for in a program. The University of North Carolina Medical Center has allowed me the chance to build the foundational skills I need to become the well-rounded clinical pharmacy specialist I have striven to be.
