Why UNC

Having completed my fourth year rotations and PGY1 here at UNC, I knew that I wanted to remain here for my PGY2 residency. The knowledgeable preceptors, challenging rotations, and opportunities to work with pharmacy students all drew me to the UNC program. However, what really made me decide I wanted to stay at UNC was the family atmosphere of the residency class and the pharmacy department as a whole. It is apparent that everyone in the department is committed to ensuring that residents have the best possible experience while at UNC, and I know that I will cultivate lifelong friendships with my 32 co-residents!
