Why UNC

When searching for a residency one of my main focuses was on finding a program that offers a breadth of experience while still being able to gain a depth of knowledge. The University of North Carolina is a unique program in that they have a wide variety of both inpatient and outpatient rotations available. Pharmacists at UNC are an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, creating a clinically challenging environment for residents. However, the clinical experience is just one of the many focuses at UNC. This program focuses on strengthening clinical skills, teaching skills, and leadership ability to develop a well-rounded pharmacist.
