Why UNC

When looking at PGY2 critical care programs, I knew UNC would provide a high quality learning experience to continue my post-graduate education. As a large academic medical center, UNC offers a variety of unique ICU and elective experiences to provide learners the skills necessary to become excellent critical care clinicians. The dedicated preceptors, challenging rotations, many teaching opportunities, robust research initiatives, and sincere mentorship are all reasons why I chose to continue my training at UNC. Finally, the family-like atmosphere at UNC is unmatched which makes for a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment to grow both professionally and personally. I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of the UNC family and to have the opportunity to work with these amazing people!
