Instructions for the 2015-2016 application process:

Step 1

All applicants to ASHP-accredited pharmacy practice residencies must participate in the match process sponsored by the National Matching Service. Applicants must submit match agreements to the National Matching Service to obtain a match number.

Step 2

The UNC Hospitals will be participating in PhORCAS, the new ASHP residency online application tool. More information can be found at PhORCAS.

PGY2 Health-System Medication-Use Management

For individuals applying to the Health-System Medication-Use Management Residency, please submit your completed application materials and letters of recommendation (sent directly from references) via email to Gregory.Heindel@unchealth.unc.edu by January 4th 2016. We will not be participating in the PhorCAS process this year.

PGY1/PGY2/MS Health-System Pharmacy Administration Residency Program

For individuals applying to the 2-year MS / Health-System Pharmacy Administration residency program, all applicants need to complete a graduate school application in addition to the residency application.

All Residency Programs

Application Deadline is January 1st.

Applicants must submit all required materials as well as uploading a document with answers to UNC-specific essay questions (see supplemental information above).
