Internal Reference Testing Specimen Handling Instructions:
Platelet Poor Plasma - minimum 4 aliquots of minimum 0.3 mL.
Use all plasma. Freeze within 4 hours.
Comments Lupus APTT is affected by heparin. 
HPN is not affected by heparin up to 1U/mL. 
Dilute Russell's Viper Venom not affected by heparin up to 0.8 U/mL.
