Turnaround Time   Samples for Everolimus testing must be in the Core Laboratory by 12pm(noon) for same day testing. Samples received after 12:00 pm will be run the following day.
Reference Range  

3-15 ng/mL (Trough, steady state).

Critical Value Range

Everolimus: Greater than 20 ng/mL

The above ranges are published as rough guidelines only. Concentrations targeted depend upon the drug regimen used, the type of transplant, time post transplantation, and other clinical factors such as renal function, rejection status, etc.

Comments

 Methodology: Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry

-Everolimus should be collected as a trough sample immediately before the next scheduled dose.

-Multiple test requests with same sample type will require additional volumes for testing.

-Pediatric microtainers (“bullets”) available from Phlebotomy Services
