Comments
This test is used to identify oligoclonal bands in the CSF of patients with neurological symptoms (such as multiple sclerosis).
A paired serum sample is required.  Both samples should be collected at the same time; samples collected >24 hrs apart may be rejected. Transport samples to laboratory together.
 

Not to be used to detect CSF leakage (Beta-2 Transferrin, Fluid).
